Introduction For my assignment, I am going to develop a website based on makeup. Makeup is known as 'substances or products used to enhance the appearance or fragrance of the body'.
Makeup Products can be used each and everyday for appearance, filming and special effects.
Conceptual Development
Concept Development is a process driven by a target audience which are converted to a conceptual design.
The concept of my makeup website is to make people aware of
- Different makeup products
- Cruelty free brands
- How to take care of your face and useful products for face care
- Sample looks
Audience Analysis
The target audience for my website points towards a female audience but can also attract a male audience who have an interest in makeup products or special effects.
A survey conducted in 2012 on behalf of the Renfrew Center Foundation states that at least 58% of girls of the age 18 wear makeup.
Content Analysis
My website will contain a numerous amount of pages. Pages will include an:

- About
- Cruelty Free Brands
- Gallery
- Contact
- Top 20 best eye shadow pallets
- Low Cost makeup products
- Brushes and tools
- Sitemap
- Skin Care routine
- Useful links
What will the content contain?
- Each page on the website will contain a navigation bar for users to navigate throughout the website. This will appear on all pages along with a search bar for users to search for information on the website.
- I will supply a form for users to ask questions/queries they may have and a map to specify the location of where the website is based
- I will use a table to structure the cruelty free brands and their best products.
- A site map will present the structure of the website and all pages that are within the website
- The skin care routine page will contain an ordered list with a step by step tutorial of how to keep your skin clear
- Brushes and tools will bring the user to a page with two links. These two links will redirect the user to a page about different brushes or a page about different tools. On each page, there will be information on each brush and tool and how to use it
- A useful links page will give the user a list of beneficial makeup website and groups to gain more information on makeup and products
- Low Cost Makeup products and Makeup looks will provide users with a link to purchase the product, an image, price and a description of the product
